Description
Syrma combines the advantages of a border fork with the slim shape needed for working in closely-planted areas. In parts of the garden that are too narrow for a border fork, it allows the gardener to loosen and aerate the soil right down to root level without disturbing neighbouring plants.
It has a heavy-duty bronze head, steam-bent ash shaft and beech T-handle.
Length: 3ft 6ins, 108cm
Tines 8cm wide, 20cm long
Alex –
It’s a nice tool but not nearly as useful as I expected. The biggest drawback is you can hardly get your foot on it to press down. In most circumstances a standard border fork is more versatile and therefore this stays in the shed. It’s probably the best there is of this type of specialist fork.
