As the tool handles are made of wood, they may have imperfections or deteriorate over time. For the first two years of use, they are covered by our guarantee (excluding normal wear and tear). Should your trowel or fork be run over by the lawnmower, spend a winter in the compost heap, go through the bonfire or have any other unexpected calamities, we supply replacement handles. Fitting them requires some basic equipment, but is fairly straightforward. This video gives a short demonstration (but we would suggest wearing gloves to protect your hands from the sharp trowel edges).
If you do not have the equipment to replace the tool handle, then post your trowel or hand fork back to us and we will replace it for you, at no extra cost.
We will not fit our handles to other makes of tool heads. They usually don’t fit anyway.
The hole in the handle for the tang of the trowel is is 12mm diameter and is reinforced by a metal collar.
