Description
Like Phoenix but with a single prong, Polux is handy for working in stony or well-worked soil, and in the rockery. It has a turned beech handle and bronze head. The single prong can loosen the roots of the creeping buttercup, then the diamond head is used to pull it out. As with Phoenix, it has many other uses: for transplanting, tidying and more.
Length: 31cm, 12ins
Weight: 9oz, 230g

“… a lovely strong tool that survives my flint-filled border. Other tools bend!”

“I wouldn’t be without it – it has so many uses: mini ‘hoe’ getting right in close to special plants. The ‘pick’ end I use to get weeds out round roots of plants and shrubs. I garden for a living and use it every day.”
Liz Stewart
“… really useful and well balanced tool – and not a slug in sight!”

“The Polux hoe has many uses, not just the right shape for the squarish pots but the pointed end used for weeding around the green Halo pots, keeps the earth free from the rim.”
