Atlas has a curved head of high-grade aluminium bronze. It is designed to break up new ground.

Please note: Atlas is designed for garden use only, not for any kind of construction work such as slab laying or building patios.

It has a sharp, wedged blade, 4cm (1 1/2ins) wide at one end and 9cm (3 1/2ins) at the other. The head is 27cm, 10 3/4 ins long. The shaft is of turned European ash.

    A wonderful tool, light and effortless to use.
    I cleared a new veg patch, using only the pick to lift the turf, dig the soil, remove stones, and break up the ground – even rough raking was possible.
    I am also using it to clear bamboo roots. Who would ever use a fork again?
