PKS, the Austrian manufacturers of the tools have come up with two sizes of gift box for the small tools. The larger box shown here holds three or four tools. As it is made of cardboard, it can be recycled or composted after the gift has been presented. Price £1 each.

Jute Bag

These are made in West Bengal (India) by a small group of people, known to the UK importer, who cut, stitch and screen print the bags themselves. Jute is a plant that is perfect for cultivation in the Ganges Delta. It is planted after the monsoon, when the ground is wet and rich in nutrients after the rivers have flooded over the land. It then needs baking hot sun in order to grow - and that is what it gets.

The bags are long-lasting, washable (cool wash in the washing machine), capacious and hardwearing. And fun. Dimensions 31cm wide x 31cm high with a 23cm gusset. Price £3.50 each.
